Bad Religion, Offspring, Rancid and other punk bands will be heading to central Ohio for a new camping, craft beer and music festival in 2019. Camp Anarchy debuts in spring, running from Friday, May 31 to Sunday, June 2. Tickets go on sale on Friday, Dec. 14.
The festival, taking over Legend Valley in Thornville, will also feature performances by NOFX, Pennywise, X, Suicidal Tendencies, Less Than Jake, Fear, and more. A variety of activities will be offered as well, including dodgeball games pitting fans against bands, fair games, a vendor village flea market, oversized games like beer pong and cornhole, and scavenger hunts. A craft beer station and s’mores station will also be available.
Camp Anarchy is co-produced by Brew Ha Ha Productions (BHHP) and Synergy Global Entertainment (SGE), both based in California. SGE has put on music festivals like MUSINK, Driftwood, Back To The Beach and roughly 70 others in 2018, while BHHP is known for their craft beer centric events all over the U.S.
“A punker’s dream…three days of the best bands and so much to do while camping under the stars in Ohio,” says SGE founder John Reese. “What could be better?”
Attendance is 18 and over, and general admission tickets start at $49.50 for single day passes. A weekend pass is $99.50. There are a limited number of VIP packages that will be available for purchase, including a single day pass for $129.50 and a weekend pass for $279.
