Update: New Renderings of Parks Edge Condos Revealed
Nationwide Realty Investors presented their plans for a new 12-story 69-unit residential tower in the Arena District to the Downtown Commission yesterday, revealing some new visuals and renderings to better showcase the extent of the new development. As the company revealed last week, it will include a four-story parking deck, attached to the main building with a skywalk, and future spaces are being planned for two additional buildings that would be revealed and constructed in later phases.
“NRI is filling in the final pieces of a billion dollar district vision that has earned Columbus national attention,” stated Downtown Commissioner Mike Brown. “As we’ve seen with the blocks already built, these new condos are attractively designed, with a lot of thought put into pedestrian experiences, green space, exterior materials and the way each building contributes to a vibrant, urban district.”
The Downtown Commission voted to approve the proposal during yesterday’s meeting. NRI plans to break ground as quickly as possible, with a completion date targeted for Spring 2017.
