NBBJ Relocating Offices to 250 High Building

Global architectural firm NBBJ officially announced today that it has signed a lease for 22,500 square feet of office space in the new 12-story 250 High building that is currently under construction Downtown. The firm was also responsible with the design of the building.

NBBJ will be joining Resource Interactive, who previously committed to 60,000 square feet in the building, where it will relocate its 375 employees from the Arena District. Approximately 50,000 additional square feet of office space remain for additional tenants. The building will also house ground floor retail and 120 apartment units once completed in the Spring of 2015.

“NBBJ worked with the Columbus Downtown Development Corporation and the Downtown Commission to design a building that reflects this fundamental lifestyle shift, with a contemporary glass curtain wall that contrasts with many other buildings downtown,” said Carl D. Yost, Associate and Communications Manager in a press release issued today. “The project will bring to downtown not only jobs, but also hundreds of full-time residents who will bring greater engagement with the city at large.”

NBBJ’s Columbus offices are currently located at 1555 Lake Shore Drive, near The Quarry, west of Marble Cliff. The firm employs more than 700 people in offices located in Beijing, London, Los Angeles, New York and and elsewhere around the world.
