The fourth MoJoe Lounge location is opening Monday morning at the intersection of High Street and Town Street, in the heart of Downtown Columbus. Starting at 6am, the new store will be giving away free 12-ounce cups of brewed coffee to celebrate their opening day.

“We will also have our full line of espresso, cappuccino and latte drinks as well as pastries, bagels and smoothies,” added Mark Swanson, president of Cup o’ Joe and Stauf’s Coffee Roasters.

Fans of the Short North and German Village locations will find both similarities and differences inside the Downtown cafe. The decor is comfortable, but designed with more of an urban “big city” feel. Additionally, the menu will see some alterations to accommodate a more office-oriented clientele during the day, such as quick-service breakfast items for customers in a hurry on their way to work.

“We have a lot more room in this kitchen so we can broaden our offerings,” said Swanson. “Chef Bill Fugitt is the General Manager of the new store and our company’s chef. He has been working hard with our German Village, Stauf’s and Short North kitchen teams to fine tune our food offerings and develop new items.”

Coffee service will be available at MoJoe Lounge all this week from 6am to 6pm. Lunch service will be added later this week, and the full restaurant and bar hours will be expanded the following week to operate Mon 6am-6pm, Tue/Wed 6am-9pm, Thur 6am-Midnight, Fri 6am-1am, Sat 8am-1am and Sun 8am-9pm.

“Downtown is open for business,” said Swanson happily. “You can stroll in the new parks, eat and drink at MoJoe, Jury Room, Little Palace, Dirty Franks and Milestone 229. Park your car in a nearby parking garage and enjoy how walkable our city has become!”
