“We have decided to close Mix: Home as we take a step back to re-evaluate the concept and location,” owner Adam Gibson posted on Facebook on Friday. “Our decision was not taken lightly. We absolutely love the thrill of the hunt while searching for one-of-a-kind pieces that set our store apart from others.”

The shop featured a wide variety of styles from manufactures all around the world, hence the word “mix” in the name of the business. Gibson told Columbus Underground in 2011 that the store was inspired by the green movement to provide home décor items that are more environmentally friendly.

The final day for Mix:Home is scheduled for Saturday, May 24th. Clearance sales are taking place now through then.
