Mini-Super to Replace Little Eater Produce at North Market

This summer, the produce stand at the North Market is getting an overhaul. A new business operation called Mini-Super will take over the space, replacing Little Eater Produce and Provisions. Mini-Super will be opened and operated by Matthew Miner, a 20-year industry veteran with experience at Northwest Natural Foods and Whole Foods.

“The addition of Mini-Super will further enhance the North Market’s reputation of providing a launch pad for small businesses,” stated North Market Executive Director Rick Harrison Wolfe. “North Market is excited about the opportunity to showcase what Mini-Super has to offer and I believe our customers will enjoy this ‘best-in-class’ latest addition to their favorite fresh produce shopping destination.”

Mini-Super’s offerings will include eggs and dairy products in addition to a variety of produce. A grand opening is slated for early June.

Little Eater Produce and Provisions has closed as of today, as owner Cara Mangini has shifted focus to the growing restaurant business behind Little Eater, which opened a Clintonville location in October 2017.

“We are forever grateful to Cara’s contributions to the Market and look forward to our continued relationship with her North Market Little Eater prepared food offering,” said Wolfe.
