Mikey’s Late Night Slice Coming to Columbus Commons
We all know Mikey’s Late Night Slice for a few things: huge slices of pizza pie for a great price, awesome dudes who take what they do with the appropriate mix of seriousness and whimsy, a small army of food trucks and shops, and the wickedly hot Fiery Death Pizza Challenge. Now Mikey’s wants to be known for a few other things. Among them, Columbus Commons occupant.
“We’re really excited about this venture,” Mikey’s Late Night Slice owner Mikey Sorboro announces. ” The timing’s good… and with the warm weather coming, we think it’s the perfect time for this”.
Beginning later this month, the Late Night Slice Commons Cafe will open where the old Burger, Dogs, and Fries once stood. They will occupy the west side of the cafe building at the Commons and Jeni’s Splendid Ice-Cream will occupy the East. Sorboro is stoked to be opening alongside another local powerhouse like Jeni’s Splendid, and promises to deliver the same high quality of product and the menu staples fans have come to rely on – plus a few surprises.
“We’re actually going to be offering breakfast as well,” Sorboro lets drop. “We’ll open at 7am and folks can count on delicious, Cuban-style, pressed breakfast sandwiches. So, if you’re down there at that time, check us out”.
