    Midway Replaces Former Bento Go-Go

Bento Go-Go is no more-more. The former restaurant and bar has been renovated for a new restaurant and bar called Midway on High.

The new restaurant comes from the same family of owners, who also own and operate Haiku in the Short North.

The concept at Midway is sticking within familiar territory, offering pan-asian and asian-inspired dishes along with american bar food. Rice bowls and noodle dishes share the menu with turkey burgers and quesadillas. There’s also a sushi menu where you can order a variety of nigiri, inari and specialty rolls.

“Midway aims to be a new Columbus offering that provides great food as well as an energetic and fun nightlife destination,” says Assistant Manager Will Vodak.

The two-floor restaurant is configured with bars on each floor, which will feature craft beers and asian-inspired cocktails. Prominent Happy Hour specials have a lengthy run from 3pm-9pm Monday through Friday and weekends 3pm-7pm, featuring half-off beers, $3 signature cocktails and $8 pitchers of concoctions called Venus Fly Trap and Monkey Balls.

Midway on High is located at 1728 North High Street, and is open from 11am to 2:30am, seven days a week.
