The 2009 Mashup/Remix Conference takes place next Thursday and Friday at OSU. The conference features multiple panels and speakers discussing the surge of new media content being created using pre-existing work that is being reshaped and re-imagined in new ways. Presenters will discuss the legal, political and cultural aspects of these new artforms. An open-to-the-public keynote will be given by DJ Spooky on Thursday, March 12th at 7pm in Mershon Auditorium.
