    Maryellen O’Shaughnessy’s Last Council Meeting

    Monday, December 15th marks the final Columbus City Council meeting for Maryellen O’Shaughnessy who will soon be moving on to her newly elected position as the Franklin County Clerk of Common Pleas Court. Maryellen has served on Council since 1997 and has been highly regarded by many regular contributors on Columbus Underground for her staunch support of urban development, alternative transportation, and fostering a creative community for local arts. Just this past year she has played a pivotal role in new initiatives ranging from the new scooter parking spaces to the Complete Streets resolution to the Bicentennial Bikeways Plan, just to name a few.
