Lululemon starts its year-long run at 640 N. High St. as of today. The athletic apparel retailer will test the Short North waters for a year with a seasonal pop-up format.

It’s actually the brand’s second run in the Short North. Lululemon operated a showroom in the Dakota Building at 845 N. High St. from 2008-2010, closing up shop when the Easton Town Center store opened.

The new store offers 2,000 square feet of space across two levels. Shoppers can expect the brand’s full array of men’s and women’s apparel and accessories that “support the sweat life.”

The success of the pop-up will determine the brand’s future in the neighborhood. In addition to Easton and Short North, Lululemon also operates a store at Polaris.

Lululemon will celebrate its return to the Short North with a grand opening yoga event Sunday, July 21 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. The event will shut down Russell Street for an outdoor yoga session. More details can be found here.

    Lululemon Short North will be open from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 – 6 p.m. on Sundays.
