Columbus Association for the Performing Arts and the Lincoln Theatre Association will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Lincoln’s grand reopening with a free community open house on Sunday, April 14. The open house is part of the CAPA’s year-long 50th anniversary celebration.
Since its $13.5 million reopening in 2009, the Lincoln Theatre has become a hub for performing arts and education on the Near East Side through its educational programming and incubation of local artists.
For its open house event, the theater will offer live performances from Lincoln incubation artists and local arts groups, as well as hands-on arts and crafts, face painting, an interactive dance session, a local art display and complimentary refreshments.
The Lincoln Theatre’s 10th-anniversary community open house at the Lincoln Theatre, 769 E. Long St., on Sunday, April 14 from 2 to 5 p.m.
