Another one bites the dust — add King Avenue 5 to the list of closures in the final days of 2018. The Fifth by Northwest restaurant confirmed their impending closure in a Facebook message on Friday. Their last day of operation will be on Monday, Dec. 31.

“Had a great 13+ year run. The landlord is working with a new prospective tenant for 2019,” an associate with the restaurant said in a message. “The owner’s been in the restaurant business for 27 years. He has decided that it’s time for a new chapter in his life.”

King Avenue 5 first opened up in 2005 and has since been a destination for sports fans.
