KDB Closes Doors at Easton Town Center

After seven years of operation, KDB has closed its doors inside Easton Station at Easton Town Center. The entertainment-based bar replaced similar concept Gameworks in 2010, both of which allowed visitors to play arcade games, air hockey, skee-ball and other interactive games with a bar and restaurant environment.

Managers of the business posted the following message on the location’s Facebook page today:

“We wish to thank our valued guests who have visited KDB over the years. For those who have gift cards outstanding, please visit the Easton Guest Services desk, level 1 in the Station building under the AMC escalators to request a refund. Please bring your gift card with proof of purchase by Friday, September 1st, Monday through Friday 10am to 6pm. Redemption prize game tickets can not be redeemed. No refunds will be issued after this period.”

KDB closed temporarily in 2015 to undergo extensive renovations. There’s no word yet on what might replace the 37,000 square foot space, but management has noted that an “exciting announcement in the coming months.”

Fans of arcade games and bar-entertainment venues can still find plenty of alternatives throughout Columbus, including 16-Bit Bar+Arcade, Old North Arcade, Brewcadia, Level One Bar + Arcade, PINS Mechanical Company (and a second location coming soon to Bridge Park in Dublin).
