    KASA Yoga Opens in Worthington

“Thank you for opening a yoga studio in Worthington,” related Katherine ‘Katica’ Yannucci, owner of KASA Yoga and Wellness Historic Worthington, “People have said that to me again and again.”

Yannucci opened KASA Yoga on July 8th.

“I have been living in Worthington a long time, and I looked around for years for a space,” she said. In the meantime, Katherine achieved a 500 hour yoga teacher training certificate, taught yoga classes downtown, and also in her home in Worthington.

“I love Worthington, especially this old section and the park.”

KASA Yoga and Wellness is on the second floor of the building facing north onto the Village Green. The door to the upstairs is next to The Wren House. Up the stairs and to the left is a warm and welcoming room with tasteful art and lovely colors.

“My heritage is Colombian,” says Yannucci, “So the saying ‘Mi casa es su casa’ means a lot.”

She combined that thought with her nickname, Katica, to name KASA Yoga.

Besides the boutique-style decor, KASA Yoga has very pleasant views through the windows facing north into the trees of the Village Green. Being able to watch the sway of green leaves while doing mediative yoga is a nice treat. Yannucci also offers outdoor yoga on the Village Green.

KASA Yoga classes range from Gentle/Beginner Yoga to Vinyasa. There is also a Yin Yoga and Meditation on Friday nights. KASA Yoga has an opening special of $49 for a month of unlimited yoga. Reiki is also available.

Although there are yoga classes in Worthington at the Griswold and Community Centers, KASA Yoga and Wellness is a lovely boutique addition to the Central Ohio yoga scene.
