Just Love Coffee Cafe has opened its first Ohio location at 330 S. High St. Downtown.
Keith Atieh brought the Murfreesboro, TN based franchise to Columbus, inspired by the company’s do-good mission which aims to give back to communities.
The cafe offers a lineup of coffee and espresso drinks and an available-all-day menu of breakfast items, sandwiches, waffles and more. Showcasing the unknown versatility of a standard kitchen appliance, all of Just Love’s eats are cooked in waffle irons. That leads to dishes like the Womelette with eggs, sausage, cheddar cheese, onions, peppers, tomatoes and tots and the breakfast favorite Nanna’s Cinnamon Rolls, waffled and topped with icing.
At lunchtime, diners will find griddled wraps and sandwiches like the Grilled Chicken, Classic Club Sandwich or Roast Beef & Cheddar Melt. And yes, there are waffles, spanning the savory stuffed with bacon, egg and cheese, to the sweet with versions that sport Fruity Pebbles to Nutella.
More than offering breakfast and lunch to Downtown diners, Manager Corin Hale says they want to make the cafe a lively spot for the community to spend time. They’ll look to add a lineup of events like date nights, speed dating and open mic nights, which will push the cafe into later hours. The first round of events are expected to be finalized in the next few weeks.
Just Love will also have a meeting room that can be rented out. It will seat about 20 and offer options for catering.
Just Love Coffee Cafe is open from 6 a.m – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
