While filming his new movie “I Am Wrath” in locations around town over the past several weeks, movie star John Travolta appears to have fallen in love with the City of Columbus. An anonymous local realtor divulged this morning that the actor has just completed the paperwork to purchase a new home in German Village, where he plans to relocate full time from Los Angeles this summer.
During breaks in his filming schedule, Travolta has been spotted taking in the charm and beauty of the neighborhood with long walks in Schiller Park, grabbing dinner at the plethora of great restaurants in the area, and getting intentionally lost for hours on end inside The Book Loft with a cup of coffee from Stauf’s next door.
Sources close to the actor said that he considered properties other neighborhoods including Italian Village and Franklinton, but had issues with a lack of surface parking in IV and a lack of high-wealth neighbors in FTON.
