The “World’s Tiniest Ice Cream Shop” is opening late spring in German Village. The new seasonal, walk-up service Jeni’s will occupy the 40 square foot space at 900 Mohawk Street. Jeni Britton Bauer is excited to finally see this project happening and happy to be next to Molly Pesich at the Brown Bag Deli.
“We’ve been talking about doing this for years,” shared Jeni. “We are excited to be in German Village, Charly and I lived on the other side of the park for a few years. I think ice cream will go over well with all the goings on in the park. And since you don’t have to come inside (in fact, you wouldn’t even fit), folks can walk over with dogs and grab an ice cream for their park visit.”
The space will feature a new stainless steel window service counter, a wood paneled door painted with chalkboard paint, a new awning and sign and sidewalk seating with marble topped tables and Moroso chairs.
Update: The Official opening date is Friday, April 29th at 11am!
