2002? In the name of Donnie Nickey, things are starting to feel a little familiar for the Buckeyes.
Halfway through the 2007 campaign, Buckeye fans are starting to give each other that look. USC gets nicked by Stanford, The Red River shootout is a battle between one-loss teams, and after easy road night wins, we all start looking at each other with that “you-know-what-this-might-be-our-year” sideways glances.
Funny thing is, we always do that in Columbus. It felt like it before 2005, but two touchdowns in three weeks kept us from being “the” team in college football. I don’t even need to get into 1995 and 1998.
