    Important Primary Dates to Remember

    In just over a month, Central Ohioans will vote in a state primary that will determine nominations for U.S. Representative, state senators, state representatives, judges, county and state Central Committees, and for some, the Columbus State Bond Issue, township fire and police levies and the Southwest Public Library Levy. Democrats will also select a nominee for this year’s Presidential Elections.

    Some important dates to remember:

    Tuesday, Feb. 18 is the deadline for voter registration — you can do so online here. Mail-in registrations must be postmarked by Feb. 18.

    On Wednesday, Feb. 19, early voting begins. Find more information on that here. Early in-person voting takes place at the Franklin County Board of Elections, 1700 Morse Rd.

    By Saturday, March 14 at noon, applications for absentee ballots must be received.

    Tuesday, March 17 is Election Day. Find your polling location here.
