“As of today, we officially have possession of the space,” confirmed Joe Saccone, co-owner of Hyde Park.

Beyond that, the group isn’t ready to announce much else. Saccone said that they have a few conceptual ideas as to what new restaurant may go into that spot to compliment their Black Point, Hyde Park and Eleven restaurants nearby, but likely won’t be ready to announce what the concept will be until mid-February.

“Right now we’re in the phase of verifying what’s left in the space, getting an architect in there in the next two weeks, and starting that measuring process,” he said. “We’ll get through holidays before we start formulating plans.”

Following a construction period, Saccone projected that the new concept would probably see a Summer 2015 opening timeframe.
