The newest concept from Cameron Mitchell Restaurants opened on Saturday at 1600 Lane Avenue inside The Lane mixed-use development. Hudson 29 Kitchen + Drink is the name of that concept, which features semi-upscale-yet-comfortable American cuisine and a large wine, craft beer and cocktail menu.
“Upper Arlington has been my home for more than three decades, and I am delighted to share this concept with my friends, neighbors and the central Ohio community,” said Cameron Mitchell, CMR president and founder. “Although we’ve introduced a number of restaurants over our 20 years in business, it is particularly special to open Hudson 29 here in my neighborhood.”
Highlights from the Hudson 29 menu include house-baked cheese-stuffed butter rolls, chicken lollipops, a namesake Hudson sushi roll, a knife-and-fork Reuben, Cantonese Chicken and Noodle Salad and Wood-Grilled King Salmon filet, just to name a few. Highlights from the drink menu include Grapefruit Fresca, Bourbon Cola and kegged chardonnay on tap from the Hess Family Estates Winery.
An official ribbon-cutting event at Hudson 29 will take place on April 7th. A second location is already slated for the Market & Main development in New Albany in 2015.
