You can normally find the House of BBQ and Blues food truck on Parsons Avenue, but on Thursday, June 23rd, you can come and find them at Best Bites: Barbecue as they compete for your votes for the best BBQ in the city! Owners Tamaul and Nikki Boston will be featuring their pulled pork, which is slow smoked at 250 degrees for six hours, using a mix of apple, cherry and oak wood, and flavored with both a barbecue rub and a barbecue sauce made in-house.

Best Bites: Barbecue will take place on Thursday, June 23rd and will feature samples from restaurants, food trucks and catering companies that offer the best Barbecue in Columbus, along with local beer from , and music and entertainment as well. The event will take place at The Boat House at Confluence Park, offering some of the best views of the Columbus skyline.
Other participating restaurants include City Barbeque, Land Yacht BBQ, Paddy Wagon, Ray Ray’s Hog Pit, Oldskool, CBC Restaurant, Sweet Carrot, Milestone 229, Smokehouse Brewing Co, Barrel & Boar, The Boat House Restaurant, Aloha Streatery, KDB Easton, Old Bill Bailey’s, and Hoggy’s.
Guests can purchase tickets to attend the event from 5:30pm-7:30pm or from 8pm-10pm. Advance tickets to the event are $35, tickets are expected to sell out in advance, and a portion of the proceeds from all ticket sales will be donated to CelebrateOne, an organization that helps fight infant mortality in Central Ohio. The Columbus Underground Best Bites event series have collectively raised over $16,000 for local charities since August 2014, with a goal of raising $20,000 for local charities in 2016.
