Hot Chicken Takeover’s Clintonville Location is Nearing a Grand Opening

That time is approaching, when Clintonville residents won’t have to drive Downtown to nab some Hot Chicken Takeover. The business’ second location is nearing an opening day, and it’ll have a celebratory grand opening event on Friday, June 2.

“We’re excited to be a part of the Clintonville community,” said Joe DeLoss, founder of Hot Chicken Takeover. “We recognize that we have customers who are passionate about our food and our mission in this part of town. We’re grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such an engaged neighborhood.”

HCT’s Clintonville store — located at 4203 North High Street — will have different, upgraded tables for easier accessibility, as well as an eventual pick-up window. Other than that, it’ll be the same line-garnering, Fair Chance employing, Nashville-style hot chicken-making HCT.

Prior to the grand opening, they’ll host a sneak peek event, which will take place on Thursday, June 1 from 4 to 9 p.m. Anyone who wants to be one of the first in line to purchase Hot Chicken Takeover Clintonville just has to purchase a $5 ticket on EventBrite. Proceeds will benefit the Community Resources Center (CRC).

“When Hot Chicken Takeover approached us with the idea to do a fundraiser for the CRC, we were excited,” shares Cliff Wiltshire, Development Director of the CRC, “we’re grateful to have such a thoughtful business in our neighborhood.”
