Westerville is getting a dose of spice this summer. Hot Chicken Takeover will open its fourth Central Ohio restaurant at 435 Polaris Parkway.

The full HCT menu will be available, including recent additions of Not Chicken (house seitan) and vegan Baked Beans. The new location will also feature a pickup window for to-go orders and a patio.

HCT operates as a social enterprise, providing second-chance employment to those with challenges in their past.

“Our Westerville location is well-served by COTA’s CMAX bus rapid transit line, making it particularly attractive as we believe reliable transportation is a critical part of being a great employer,” says HCT Founder & CEO Joe DeLoss. “This new restaurant opening contributes to our focus on job creation, opening up 40 additional employment opportunities on HCT’s team.”

Since its launch in 2014, HCT has expanded from a vendor at the North Market, adding brick-and-mortar locations in Clintonville and at Easton. In October 2019, the restaurant also opened its first location outside of Central Ohio in Crocker Park in Cleveland.
