Once again, Hot Chicken Takeover is headed out into the world with their Neighborhood Tour series, bringing fried chicken to eight different stops throughout September and October. The restaurant located inside the North Market will remain open while the company’s food truck — recently voted the best food truck in Columbus — hits the streets of Franklinton, Bexley, Gahanna and beyond.

This season’s list of dates, neighborhoods and charitable partners include:

  • 9/1 – Franklinton – supporting Gladden House
  • 9/9 – Bexley – supporting the Bexley Community Foundation
  • 9/20 – Clintonville – supporting the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resource Center
  • 9/24 – Grandview – supporting Goodwill Columbus
  • 9/30 – Dublin – supporting Dublin Food Pantry
  • 10/5 – Merion Village – Gluten-Free fried chicken event with Bake Me Happy supporting Flying Horse Farm’s Rheumatology and GI Camp
  • 10/13 – Worthington – supporting the Old Worthington Organization
  • 10/22 – Gahanna – supporting the Gahanna Parks and Recreation

More information will be released about each event as the tour progresses. The first event will be taking place at Tommy’s Diner, offering a unique setting for table service and Land Grant beer for sale.
