Hoof Hearted Brewpub Coming Soon to Italian Village
Columbus-based company A&R Creative Group will be ushering in a Columbus Hoof Hearted Brewing Company Italian Village location.
Hoof Hearted Brewery and Kitchen, originally based in Marengo, OH, advertises themselves as “Craft beers with all the subtlety of David Lee Roth in bunless chaps.” The brewery is partnering with the A&R team to open a sustainable brewpub, with eventual plans to grow and utilize ingredients from the Italian Village Urban Farm, a Columbus Growing Collective initiative.
The brewpub is slated to open late summer this year, at the corner of East First Avenue and North Fourth Street inside the new Jeffrey Park Community Center building. The interior of the pub will be “clean and Nordic,” opening up to poolside patio seating. Kitchen chefs and Hoof Hearted brewers will be viewable to customers through large picture windows. The menu will be farm-driven, small and shareable.
A&R also has plans to open a new southside location for The Crest Gastropub later this year.
