Homefare Quietly Closes in The Short North

After two years in business, Homefare has quietly exited the Short North dining scene, closing their doors at 772 N. High St. Hints of the restaurant’s demise began in late October, but went officially unconfirmed until today.

“Yes, they did close without notice to us,” stated the restaurant’s landlord Mark Wood, President of The Wood Companies. “We are looking for a replacement tenant now.”

Homefare was launched by Chef and Owner Matthew Litzinger as a replacement for L’Antibes, an upscale french dining restaurant that Litzinger operated for eight years prior. The newer restaurant was created to focus on a home-inspired menu of comfort foods and carryout-friendly options.

Stay tuned to CU for updates on what comes next at 772 N. High St.
