In keeping with the Holiday spirit we wanted to share some of our design tips for that last minute decorating.

    Trees, Trees, Trees!

For all of you who celebrate the holidays by putting up a tree here are a few different and fun ideas.

When decorating your tree you don’t always have to resort to a star or angel to top your tree. Try your hand at bow making! Find some 3 inch, or so, ribbon that you absolutely love and works color-wise with your tree. Make the bow for the top big enough so it looks proportionate with your tree…not to top heavy or to small it gets lost. Also, try using 2 different colored ribbons to give your tree more contrast.

Another tree topper idea for those “wow factor” trees is incorporate in some glitter branches at the top and even throughout. These really give the tree dimension and POP! – A great way to make your tree a bit fancier and stand out from all the others.

If your children love the holidays just as much as you, think about adding a fun, themed tree in their bedrooms. For that little girl who loves pink, give her a glam pink tree – pink tree, pink ornaments, pink ribbon – pink everything! Or, mix and match using all of their favorite colors. This is the time to really be creative. Pick your child’s favorite hobby and just run with it!

    Let there be light!

Remember to look up when decorating for the holidays. Your interior lighting needs a little holiday spirit too! Use a simple piece of garland and wind it around the rod of your pendent lighting. Cap with a bow. And you’re done!

    Think Big!

We love large, oversized ornaments! These are a great addition to any holiday décor. Use ribbon or greenery to hang the ornaments from the ceiling, in doorways, in the window or in front of mirrors.

Visit Bryant Park to see this beautiful holiday décor -and much more- in person.

    Ribbons and Bows!

Indoors or out, simply add ribbon and bows to your existing live or artificial plants.

    Mantle Magic!

Whether it’s Christmas or Chanukah you celebrate, mantles are a great space to fill with the holiday spirit. Use garland (fresh or artificial), ribbon and ornaments to spice up your hearth!

    Table Talk!

The dining table is a great place to layer it on for that wow factor. From candlesticks to apothecary jars, use color combinations that work in your space. The conversation will really be flowing if dining at a table as special as this!
