“Last year was the first year for our new Friday night program format, HighBall: On the Rocks,” explained Short North Alliance Executive Director Betsy Pandora. “We were blown away by how successful it was and how much people loved the Friday themed costume party and cover tunes. This year, we knew we had to step it up. And, what better way then with a night devoted to style icon and King of Pop, Michael Jackson.”

Additionally, CD102.5 will be DJ’ing the event from 6pm to 8pm on Friday and 5pm to 7pm on Saturday. HighBall will be mc’ed by Johnny DiLoretto and Nina West.

The event’s popular Costume Couture Fashion Show will feature work from fashion designers including Jessica Driscoll, B. Shiree Houf + Ashley Wills, Que Jones, Jackie Ouayoro, Juan JosĂ© Saenz-Ferreyros, Garrett Sohnly, Lauren Primm + Ira V. Tecson and Bryston Walters.

“A handful of other new and important elements that we’ve added for this year include a totally upgraded VIP experience with the HighBall Hot Mess VIP Tent with unlimited eats from White Castle, advanced purchase tickets with special pre-sale pricing so you can ditch the lines and get right into HighBall, and an amazing cast of street performers to roam the crowds as well as DJs spinning sets throughout both nights,” added Pandora. “We can’t think of a better way kick off the Halloween season.”
