It’s almost here! Healthy Bites is the biggest party to celebrate health & wellness in our great city!  Columbus Underground and Shipt are bringing together our favorites on July 13 for an event you don’t want to miss. We will showcase almost two dozen local vendors that will give you a taste of living well. Grab a ticket for a free massage, some tasty treats and plenty of photo ops!

While we anxiously await, we’re giving you a little preview of what you can expect to see there.

Acre is all about being fresh. Owner and Founder, Todd Mills was inspired to open his farm-to-table restaurant after learning about the bounty of fresh produce grown right here in our state. Working with many local farms, Acre turns out delicious seasonal fare made with fresh Ohio ingredients. When you step into the restaurant, you check out the up-to-date list of farms they are working with! Their meals aren’t just fresh, they are quick, making Acre a great option on the go! They will be serving up two delicious salads at this year’s Healthy Bites: Quinoa Tabouli and their current seasonal option the Catalan Salad. For more information, visit www.acretogo.com.

Franklinton Gardens began in 2007 as a single community garden on a vacant lot and has grown into a thriving network of gardens and food production sites scattered throughout the neighborhood’s urban landscape. They offer a wide range of garden-based activities, educational programs, and employment opportunities in order to empower neighbors and build a healthy community. Stop by their table at Healthy Bites to learn about growing food in an urban setting and creating beauty through urban agriculture. For more information, visit franklintongardens.org.

Open Sky Day Spa is here to help you feel like your best self again, with spa packages including services like massages, facials and pedicures! The spa offers over ten different types of massages to help you unwind, destress, and become pain free. At Healthy Bites they will be showing you a taste of what they do best. Visit their table to enjoy a complimentary massage and other tips on how to unwind! For more information, visit Openskydayspa.com.
