Broadway in Columbus held a special event at the Southern Theatre tonight to announce their 2018-2019 season and what shows will be joining Hamilton. Genies, fairies, pirates, bohemians, muses, artists, and more will highlight the stage with the founding fathers.

“Because the demand for touring Broadway is so strong in Columbus, I’m thrilled to share we are expanding our 18/19 season number of shows from five to six season shows,” said Chad Whittington, President and CEO of CAPA.

Lisa Minken of Broadway Dish shared some of her favorite moments of her web series, Sara Bareilles and the creative team from Waitress, and Eddie George from Chicago.

Mike McCarthy joined Minken on stage and shared that the upcoming shows will “enchant and excite kids of all ages, both those that are young and those that are young at heart.”

Those who attended past shows are able to vote for what they would like to see in future seasons. The top three choices for new musicals that people voted for over the past year are part of the upcoming six show season.

The 2018/2019 PNC Broadway in Columbus season brings you:
