The Gravity development project by Kaufman Development opens this month in Franklinton. The community of apartments, shops, and restaurants will offer seven different indoor and outdoor event venues for weddings, retreats, private parties and corporate events.

The development’s main space, Center at Gravity is an indoor space featuring a full bar and liquor license, and a retractable wall that opens to Gravity’s outdoor patio. The Center can accommodate up to 175 guests.

Other event areas include an outdoor lawn with a projection wall, a food truck alley, a parking garage rooftop structured for large events, and a private rooftop with view of the Downtown Columbus skyline. Accommodations vary, from 10 to more than 1,000 guests.

Event spaces will be available to rent when not in use for Gravity’s community events. Event management company 1877 Events, an offshoot from the founders of Vue Columbus, will manage sales and operations for private events at Gravity.

The Gravity project is in its first phase, boasting 234 apartments, 50,000 square feet of offices and 30,000 square feet of retail, restaurants and businesses, and more than 14,000 square feet of murals largely by local artists.

Event spaces are currently available for booking. For information, pricing and tours, visit gravityproject.com/event-booking.
