Grant Hospital Continues to Expand Downtown Campus

Like most hospitals, Grant Medical Center is continuing to grow its campus with continued expansion projects. The latest is the proposed addition of a third floor to the existing main hospital building at the corner of Grant Avenue and State Street. The additional space would accommodate a nursing unit expansion for the facility.

Currently, construction is well under way at Grant Medical Center on the $11 million expansion of the Bone and Joint Clinic, located on Town Street. That new facility is slated to open Summer 2017.

The proposed main hospital expansion was submitted to the Downtown Commission for conceptual review at the upcoming February 28th meeting. Other items on the meeting agenda include the review of the RFP process for the Scioto Peninsula project, and a review of the Sixth Street Mews expansion.
