A new mixed-use development is taking shape across the street from Grandview Yard.

Currently under construction, the project will bring another 260 apartments, 25,000 square feet of commercial space and more than 400 parking spaces to the area.

The seven-acre site is located on the south side of Goodale Boulevard, between Bobcat Avenue and Yard Street (each of which is being extended across the street).

First announced in 2017, the project is being developed by Elford Development and the Tri-W Group, formerly the W.W. Williams Company, which had its headquarters on the site for decades.

Tri-W Group’s David French told Columbus Underground that the first apartments are on track to be move-in ready by May of next year, with construction wrapping on the rest of the development by that fall.

A name for the project hasn’t been finalized but will be unveiled soon, he added.

Materials submitted to the City of Grandview Heights during the approval process show that Nationwide Realty Investors – the developer of Grandview Yard – is planning to build on land it controls to the east of the Tri-W project. Details of that development have yet to be released.
