Giant Eagle opened two new convenience stores on Friday near the campus of The Ohio State University. Both stores have opened in recently shuttered 7-Eleven locations at 352 West Lane Avenue and 1551 North High Street. The opening was timed with move-in weekend for students and stores will feature student-centric items such as prepared foods, sandwiches, pizzas, salads, wraps, groceries and other convenience items.

“Our new campus area locations bring customers the latest features of our GetGo format,” said GetGo Vice President of Operations Dave Daniel.

Unlike other GetGo stores, these two do not currently sell gasoline, but purchases can earn points toward Giant Eagle’s fuelperks system.
