For it’s 49th lineup, the CAPA Summer Movies series brings classic films, silent movies, cult favorites, and cartoons to the stage at the Ohio Theater. The movie series begins on Friday, June 15 with Some Like it Hot, featuring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon, and closes on Sunday, August 5 with the 60th anniversary of Gigi (1958).

Ticket strips of 10 tickets for $30 are on sale now through July 22. Day-of-show tickets to individual films are $5 and go on sale one hour prior to show time at the Ohio Theatre kiosk. Senior citizen tickets are $4. Kiosk sales are cash only. Seating is general admission.

Clark Wilson, official organist for the Summer Movies Series, will once again provide preshow and intermission entertainment. Organist David Fleisher will also provide live organ accompaniment at select movie screenings.

Fritz the Nite Owl returns again for a special Fright Nite Friday presentation of Fright Night (1985) on Friday, July 6.
