Baughman has led GCAC since 2009 and has worked to expand programs and support for the arts and cultural community of Central Ohio. He played an active role during the City of Columbus Financial Review and Advisory Committee Analysis, and has demonstrated the significant role that arts and culture play in economic development.

“Milt brought the right combination of leadership skills and commitment to the arts that GCAC needed, and he can be very proud of his accomplishments in moving GCAC forward,” said Robert Falcone, GCAC board chair. “When Milt took over the leadership reins, he was planning to stay 2-3 years. He has surpassed that and we are grateful for his service to GCAC and the arts community.”

Katzenmeyer, who currently serves as Senior Vice President of University Communications at The Ohio State University, is expected to join GCAC this spring to begin the leadership transition process between.

“We are thrilled that Tom has accepted this opportunity,” said Falcone. “Not only is he personally passionate about the arts, but he understands what it will take to elevate the arts in Columbus to make us more competitive economically, retaining young talent and keeping our city vibrant for residents, businesses and visitors.”
