Fuzzy’s Taco Shop Now Open Downtown

Breakfast taco lovers — and taco lovers in general — now have a place to go all day. Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is now open Downtown in the space vacated by Japanese Steak House last year. The taco shop opens its doors at 6:30 a.m. every weekday for breakfast, but keeps the service going all day, through lunch and dinner.

The old Japanese Steak House aesthetic has been done over with Fuzzy’s’ colorful style. The large space is full of tables that sit beyond the ordering counter-slash bar. For service, guests can order fast casual-style at the counter and choose a seat. At the sound of the buzzer, the food can be found at the pickup window on a cafeteria tray.

Along with the traditional beverages served at the full bar, guests can find specialty beverages like frozen margaritas. The menu is comprehensive, offering appetizers, soups, salads, tacos, burritos, bowls, and quesadillas. One side of the menu is all breakfast, offering familiar entrees, like Huevos Rancheros, and a variety of tacos, burritos and other tortilla-wrapped items.

The menu is rounded out with several dessert options, including cinnamon sugar churros, Oreo churros, and sopapilla chips, or lightly fried flour tortilla chips topped with cinnamon sugar and honey.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop opened this week and operates seven days a week. They’re open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
