For those who are unfamiliar, Fukuryu was launched in 2014 by Jeff Tsao, son of Kahiki owners Michael and Alice Tsao. The first location opened in Melbourne, Australia with the second launching in The Lane development on Lane Avenue in early 2016.

In addition to ramen, the restaurant also features rice bowls, gyoza dumplings, Okonomiyaki balls, soft shell crab steam buns and more.

Fukuryu Ramen is the fourth restaurant to open at the new Bridge Park development, following Cap City Fine Diner, The RAM Restaurant & Brewery and the new AC Lounge. Other restaurants coming soon include The Avenue Steak Tavern, 3 Palms Pizzeria, Pins Mechanical Co., Local Cantina, Fadó Irish Pub and Z Cucina.
