Four Buildings Recognized as 2016 Recchie Design Award Finalists

The Columbus Landmarks Foundation announced yesterday their four finalists for the annual James B. Recchie Design Award that honors excellent urban design and architecture in Central Ohio. Those four finalists include:
- The Columbus Museum of Art
Architects/Designers: DesignGroup, Schooley Caldwell, MKSK - Cristo Rey Columbus High School
Architect/Designer: Schooley Caldwell - The Julian Apartments
Architect/Designer: Sullivan Bruck Architects - Nationwide Children’s Hospital
Architects/Designers: FKP Architects (Houston, TX), Ralph Applebaum & Associates (NY, NY), MKSK
Three of the four finalists represent renovation and expansion projects in existing historic buildings, while the fourth — Nationwide Children’s Hospital — is a new building.
This year’s winner will be announced during the upcoming Annual Design & Preservation Awards Reception & Program on Thursday, October 6th at 5:30 pm.
