I’ve watched a lot of David Lynch’s movies and it seems he makes them weird just for the sake of it.

I’m a Lynch fan and I also agree with this statement.

    Blue Velvet = awesome

lost Highway = exactly what you are talking about, weird just for the sake of it. And dumb to boot :P

Damn I should have been there. David Lynch is one of my favs. I still think Twin Peaks is the best TV series ever.

I too think last nights show might be one of the best yet. Finally no more build up after build up. Now we are getting somewhere. Clair is finally out in the open with Creepy Dad and Mind cop seems to be getting some more balls and not being such a loser. Petter still bugs me pretty much because i think his acting is really cheese but I am willing to get past that.

Could have been a great show because they didn’t have mika and DL who really bore me.

I thought last nights show was pretty good. Better than the last two weeks. Adding a trashy showgirl is always a way to make things more interesting :P

But like others have said, the Mind Cop is the most interesting now.

I’m still holding on to the hope that the last few episodes were just a fluke and it will get great again. I loved the show at the beginning, but I agree, it’s gotten a bit slow.

I I’ve moved up within the company a fair amount, and I love my job, most of the time; nevertheless, even those people who have seemed content to remain in a phone service position for several years typically don’t have many complaints and seem generally satisfied.

She worked her way up to be the “quality manager for the Ipod project” or something like that, but then quit to go back and finish her degree. i think by the time she moved herself up to a less mind numbing job she enjoyed it for the most part. The one thing she hated was just the general low quality attitudes of a lot of the “line level” employees. Not saying they are all like that… she just used to tell me a lot were.

    I was there

Where you one of the kids who hung out at the “fun Zone” arcade in sawmill lanes across from the dollar theater? I was.

    – Working at Calltech straight out of highscool (oh wait, that wasn’t a GOOD memory).

my girlfriend worked on the bell south project, then the verizon project, then the apple project. All in all i think she worked there for 5 or 6 years. Everyone i know that has worked there has the same hate for the place. Can’t image working where everyone hates it.

    thoughts……

to bad the big surprise of Clair’s dad was pretty easy to guess, and also too bad the whole thing with Hiro’s dad was really just a little filler story and nothing to do in the long run (maybe?)

entertaining… but not a stellar episode me thinks
