Just a reminder for all the New Albany haters; downtown had there chance to have the Wexner touch and Greg Lashukta snubbed him. So he build his own town and stopped 670 at Leonard Avenue for years to show who had the real power.
Can you imagine if A&F had offices in Franklinton? Talk about a whale of a loss.
Oh well, at least we got Phillips Coneys and 400 West Rich.
I swear; I will go away someday. :)
Wowzah…Walker just got PUNKED!
But, maybe with the Walker democrats, there is an uptick in spending on craft beers and Liz Lesserner’s restaurants? Just not Savor. For shizzel
Well, you are all screwed; people pay for what they value. If they don’t value what a worker brings to the program, they are not going to pay them well. I love “investing” in people, but only ones who make me more than I am willing to spend on them. I “value” the Red Cross, but I don’t wear their badge on my shoulder daily.October 16, 2013 12:29 am at 12:29 am in reply to: New shopping center with Target store planned in Powell (on sawmill rd) #553122
No, Walker is saying, “Don’t down play our traffic, like we’re not a real city! You know, we have festivals, the state fair and even construction that restrict our driving, just like a large metropolitan area!” Columbus is big, here me ROAR!
Great job, Columbus “leadership”; ever gone to Vegas? The casino money and traffic is from tourism. Hello, why this should have always been near the convention center. Or, making City Center the casino, it is connected to an existing hotel.
Now, Columbus has a place for oxygen tanks and wheelchairs; AWETOME!
They don’t have any cash; the point was that McD’s corporate recruits new franchise owners from within their management system and finances their purchase price.
It’s a little known fact that most McDonald’s franchised are independently owned and those owners started off as an assistant manager and worked his/her way up to manager and then owner. Corporate gives their managers preference in ownership over outside investors, and provides them financing. Now, that’s the american dream.
Awe, I missed you guys, as I’m sure you missed me too! Had to be away for a few months on a deal, but, gawd, it’s great to be home!
So, all, REGISTER NOW! CORA’s membership invite is a limited time only! If you chose not to, we and all CU’ers will hate your place.
I would guess this area would happen in the next 20-25 years; long term bet.October 2, 2013 7:52 pm at 7:52 pm in reply to: Motorcycle Rally versus SUV in NYC – All Kinds of Bad Behavior #552641
This was bad on all sides and unfortunate it had to end this way.
OMG! CU people! This is your time! Lay down your keyboard and pick up your checkbook. Stop bitching about what this city does not have and put your own butt on the line and create it! Now, I expect that the 45 active daily participants of discussions on CU open up their own concepts. Please, promote it on CU, and then advertise on CU and then they will “hopefully” they will a review of it on CU so we can all love it. And then show up to see the other 12 people in the city that feel the same.
