Probably best to try it out on a Saturday with the BOGO. It has a confusing menu (pizza, calamari, jambalaya, burgers, pasta, short rib tacos ect) and they need to work out the bugs with supplies. I so want this place to work out.
I think it comes down to more opportunity and less supervision.
Hopefully that will help. From what I understand there wasn’t as big of a turnout as was hoped for last Thursday.
I don’t usually go to Walmart but I saw something I had never seen before this weekend. There was a woman with a huge cart full of stuff and she had 5 kids with her. It was a busy Saturday evening and each of the kids got into a different line by themselves. The mother hung back until there was a clear winner in the line roulette and pushed her cart into the place of the child who had saved it. Next time a little kid is standing alone in front of me, they may represent a 300 item shopping cart.
I really can’t address GCrites80s question so I won’t.
Personally I have seen a lot of binge drinking going on in the SN lately and it seems to be getting worse. Maybe people just see it as a way to let loose, but they aren’t being responsible and unfortunately too many people are looking the other way. Those drinkers tend to do stupid things which put themselves and other people & property at risk. Maybe open container would be great for those profiting off of alcohol sales, but in general I see it as having far more negatives than positives in the quality of life found in those areas.
I think this is a bad idea. I’m not a fan of allowing folks to roam the neighborhood drinking.
It’s hard not to think of my parent’s generation as possibly one of the worst ever. What have they really accomplished that’s been a net positive for the nation?
Women’s lib, gay rights, civil rights, a lot of social programs etc….
Any sort of grocery store competition will kill that giant eagle. It makes money now (and never gets a real upgrade) because lack of competition means it doesn’t have to ever really get better
A friend who used to work there told me that it had the highest earnings per square ft of the area Giant Eagles. I am sure competition will hurt it, but I think there is a huge convenience factor that drives people to it. I am sure it will get a facelift but I doubt GE will let it slip into a competitor’s hands.
Goods news Rus and great idea to combine Jazz with Los Potosinos on a Thursday night Chris.
Alternative advertising placements throughout the North Market site may include trash cans, shopping baskets, picnic table tops, light pole signage, elevator wraps and parking stripe overlays.
If you are going to post a giant list of shows individually please at least have the courtesy to have more info on the linked webpage than ‘more info coming soon’.
^ Cool, I will stop in.
+1 They need a better location.July 23, 2013 12:21 am at 12:21 am in reply to: Residents on South Old State Road Opposed to 38-Unit Apartment Complex #546976
I think they are mostly concerned about how messed up traffic gets around there.
