“You really need to go to a 4 year college to make it these days. Weren’t your grades good enough?”
I overheard this topic when someone asked a friend’s daughter when she was going to transfer from CSCC to OSU.
I would tread carefully if she is looking for better shifts.
I would imagine the ration of tech job created to unskilled labor job eliminated is pretty disparaging. Maybe 1 tech for 100 displaced workers?
They seem to be more above board now. No hidden fees, no extra $15 maintenance fee several times a year, etc.
They are probably the best value gym in the city and if you read your contract you should be fine. It is the personal training contracts that I would avoid. The worst time is the 4-6 afterwork slot, but otherwise you have access to a lot of equipment at a very reasonable price. The free parking is a major plus as noted. If you are independently motivated and don’t need handholding this is a really nice gym option.
Again, I am a bit fuzzy on the whole striking when you are not in a union.
No call, no show, no job tomorrow.
Believe it or not – they had strikes before they had unions.
Staying on High St makes a lot of sense. I think carrying it through the SN will get more people on it and give it more recognition and be a hit with visitors.
I always thought it weird that places even sell dough. Boxed bisquick is another oddity, it is just measured staples in a box. Sometimes we are fooled to believe things are harder than they are and pay a price for that.
Dough is super easy to make and you get to control what is in it. You can even make some extra and freeze it for later.
Very interested in pricing for these apartments…
You realize it is for the chronically homeless?August 26, 2013 2:16 pm at 2:16 pm in reply to: Fiery Death Pizza with Hate Sausage from Mikey's Late Night Slice #534715
I was badgered into having a bite. It is stupid hot. I think the only reason they make this is that it is an easy cheat at getting some free press.
I don’t think they’ve operated it for quite sometime…
Damn, time flies. The last time I had them was at the Grandview Hop and it looks like that was close to 2 years ago. I really liked them.
Winter usage should be up to the individual’s comfort zone. I doubt they will close it.
That is a bummer. I hope someone scoops it up and makes it into something interesting.August 23, 2013 11:07 pm at 11:07 pm in reply to: Tablet Question for Android users – Nexus 7 or Sero 7? #549792
We had some this evening and I have to say the crust did seem a little off. I hope they aren’t cutting corners.
