Will the city push for light rail in the upcoming years?
Very nice! I could see development like this in the Discovery District also!
North Bank Condos shows they only have 20 left to sell, what is going on with the land just east of that building? Would be very cool to see something similar to it along the riverfront.August 23, 2011 2:36 pm at 2:36 pm in reply to: Nationwide Children's Hospital – News & Discussion #458025
I believe the 3rd research buidling is going to sit where the former Kroger building was.
Totally understand what you are saying Coremodels.. but I dont get the whole design theme in the Arena District being all brick? Is it cheaper for them to build low level bland boxes out of brick?
Hopefully City Council tells NRI to go back to the drawing board to come up with something a little more creative.
New style of building please! It looks like something you would see along Easton Way.
Looks like this will anchor the neighborhood about to become new again!

I walked through to check them out a few weeks ago. They were doing a special on studios for 640 and 1 bedroom/den for 740. I liked the one bedroom/den…the den could be used as a second bedroom minus it didnt have a window..both rooms have carpet and the main room is concrete. All units include stackable washer/dryer..I didnt like the fact that there is not a single closet in any of the rooms but at 640 thats pretty good for the central location.
I visited the Ohio Historical Society recently and it seems a little out of place in the current location. I would love to see this museum come downtown..
I feel this development could be similar to Atlantic Station in Atlanta but on a much smaller scale.
Im sure the demand is there..think of all the people within 5 miles of Grandview yard who have the money to spend at stores like Best Buy..who knows it could be one of the busiest in the Columbus area.
Here is another example of urban Home Depot in Chicago.
Something quick would be nice for all the kids playing in the water…a snack stand or something fast and cheap.
