It would be sweet if the owners did a community feedback / survey monkey of products/brands that would sell. I’m sure some assumptions could be made there, but it would be nice to get involved.

Looks like the new owners have gotten back to 1126 N. High!! Some interior construction is in the works and plans for “The Parlor Room” are visible from the window. Anyone have more details on whats going in this space?

Though I would’ve preferred having a more aesthetically pleasing fence, the chain link presents an opportunity for a possible low-cost art instillation. Since the bike lane is next to the fence, beautification might increase ridership and the attention to the lane. Obviously to a different scale, but I pass this fence on Hudson between High & Summit…

I would love a laundromat bar or book shop cafe here. Something different.

    Things to remember:
Dress accordingly. It will probably be in the 40s by 3:30 pm on Tuesday, November 10th with an estimated high of 53 degrees.

    1) Please do not wear flip flops (to reduce the risk of foot injuries). Water shoes or shoes with good foot protection are recommended.
    2) Wear your PFD/life vest at all times. This means zipped and fastened at all times. Our group instructors will be re-enforcing this as needed.
    3) Wear layers, shedding is a better option than to wish you had more clothing.
    4) Avoid cotton if possible.
    5) No pets allowed on this trip.
    6) Be courteous on the river.
    7) Come ready to learn something, exercise, get active and have FUN!

    Things to bring:
    1) Dry Bag to keep your personal belongings in, if you own one. We have a few we can provide on a first come first serve basis…(optional)
    2) Bring a change of clothes and a towel to leave in your vehicle (just in case)

Boats, paddles, personal floatation devices (PFDs)/life vests and safety instruction will be provided by Hero USA.

    See you on the river!

    Parking

Convenient parking can be found at the River South Parking Garage, located at 232 S. Front St, for a flat rate of $1 from 3 – 7 pm. More information about parking can be found here: https://www.lazparking.com/local/columbus-oh/riversouth-garage

    Make an Evening of It

Right next door along the Scioto Mile, Milestone 229 will be open until 10 pm offering their delicious dinner menu, plus select drink specials to celebrate the opening of the Greenways.

I am not at all aware of the plans on the Summit/3rd overpass to Downtown… When I first moved to Columbus I had a horrifying experience on the overpass with the merges and exits.

Whats the plan? Are bikes directed back onto High or over to Cleveland Ave.?
