LauraA wrote ooh, shmack, i test rode that biria at earth day. it’s a nice ride. not nearly as fast as my road bike but it will do you good. nicely made and the folks at paradise garage are awesome! they do sell a limited amount of accessories and they are quality brands.
If LauraA says yes, then YES!! Awesome. Yep, the people there are really super nice. Very accessible, helpful, and totally patient with my gajillion questions.
When y’all do this, let me know. In a week or two, I’ll have a cute lil cruiser to hangout on.
You already pick something out? There have been a lot of decent bikes on Craigslist lately.
Sort of, yeah. I need an upright commuter bike. And I can’t do an A frame because I want to keep my pubic bone in one piece. And I need relatively fat tires cuz I need stability. I’ve been looking at the bikes on CL but they tend to be a) fixeruppers, b) too big/small for me, c) road bikes. So, I’m just gonna be me and buy something new that fits my wants & needs.
I was in Paradise Garage and yes, they are a lifestyle store, but they fit my lifestyle. And they have a really stylin’ three speed upright Biria that I want… That said, Indie Pen Dent and I are going bike shopping later this week.
blammo wrote Not to take anything away from the Monday Night Raw (er…Ride), but since I have limited availability on Mondays, and I have several friends that are getting back into riding but may be a little intimidated by the scope of those rides…maybe we could get together a smaller, more laid-back ride, say 5-7 miles or so on another night.

I went to grab some coffee on the way to school this morning and they were all smiles and love and I just wanted to give them a big hug. I love them.
Oh, so they wanted me to pass along the message to BrotherMarcus that they want to give you your money back. And then they wanted to give me the money to give to you. I’m not one to turn down cold hard cash… you’re lucky I was in a rush. Anyways, point being: I think they’d really like to see you again Marc.April 19, 2008 12:44 pm at 12:44 pm in reply to: Breakfast @ The Warehouse Cafe – Saturdays @ 10:00 AM #184345
brothermarcus wrote I ordered french toast, and my order was up an hour later as I was almost starting up the Jeep – so I hope someone enjoyed my french toast! There was a crazy amount of people there, and I understand why I got skipped with the craziness- but I had some friends waiting outside of my locked apartment because I didn’t expect it to take an hour to get some french toast so I couldn’t stay any longer.
No hard feelings, I’ll just pack a meal for the next one
Hey BroMarc, no hard feelings. We wish you could have stayed. Your french toast was delicious. I owe you a drink or sumthing. :lol:April 18, 2008 10:18 pm at 10:18 pm in reply to: Breakfast @ The Warehouse Cafe – Saturdays @ 10:00 AM #184326
No waffles, but they do have great looking pancakes and the french toast is definitely a favorite.
somertimeoh wrote Columbusite and his friend were pretty good too, but yes Gram was the champ. I would like to try it again sober, but wait, can’t because you SOLD IT :(
I sold my xbox and ordered riding boots :)

What’s sad? That you’ve started two threads about this, received tons of awesome suggestions, and didn’t take any of them? What makes you so special that nothing in Columbus can satisfy your party ‘tude?
Come on woman! Buck up! There are plenty of places for you, you just have to approach with an open mind.April 14, 2008 9:16 pm at 9:16 pm in reply to: is there a nightlife out there for someone like me? #190023
http://www.thecutup.com/irene/ wrote Before Puff Daddy sexed up the works, before Hype Williams graced us with his first shiny, over-edited offering, Hip Hop videos adhered to a strict formula:
1. Setting: somewhere dark and dangerous; a hallway in the projects, a stairway in the projects, someone’s apartment in the projects… basically anywhere in the projects.
2. Background ambiance: the rapper’s friends will stand in a semi circle, nod heads and look menacing. No dancing allowed!
3. Wardrobe: Timbaland boots, baggy jeans (the baggier the better) and windbreakers. Black is preferred but any dark color will do. Beanies for the dudes, bandannas for the girls.
4. Instructions to rappers: If in doubt, mean mug the camera and always, always push someone out of the way when it is time to do your verse.
5. Girls: optional. Ok, Ok throw in a couple. Not too many. This is a rap video after all.
i protest. the strict formula = the four pillars. if you want to book nyc, scratch&beatjuggling, hip hop/soul/funk djs, hit me up.
