i’ve had both tequilla and gin poisoning. getting over tequilla’s ill effects was much much harder, but i’m proud to say that i can now drink it once again. in fact, i was drinking cuervo on the rocks over the weekend while i played some yeehaw hold’em.
since my last moronic drinking experience came from drinking a whole bottle of warm 7, every time someone hands me a shot of room temp liqour, i have to refuse. it’s a shame.
how did i do it?
you have to start real slow. mixed drinks only in the comfort of your own home. if the shudder is extreme, buy top shelf only, go very very lightly on the liqour, and pop open a beer as well.
you have to be patient though. it’s not easy. it took me 3-4 yrs of doing this before i could drink tequilla again. gin wasn’t has hard, since it was impossible to loathe anything as much as tequilla. first time i sort of had patron was 2 yrs ago, my date for the evening handed me a shot, i was too drunk to ask what it was… i told her no tequilla… she was so dumb she thought patron was the type of liqour. i threw it back, and to my amazement it flew right back out of my mouth, nose, and eyes from a pure reflex violent half cough have choke. all over the bar, bartender, and down my shirt. as i wiped the snot from my nose and desperately wiped the liqour from my mouth, the bartender informs me that he is cutting me off, and if i don’t leave he will be calling the authorities. i only laugh about it because it happened at such a vile establishment as 4 kegs.
don’t get me wrong, i’m not a fan at all of those places, but i didn’t see anything on that vid that isn’t typical osu behavior regardless of where you go. very weak.October 16, 2006 12:52 pm at 12:52 pm in reply to: BALTIMORE CLUB MUSIC _ CURTIS VODKA_ PURPLE CRUSH_ 10.14 #114114
