Have suggested it before on here I think. This was the first series that I have been able to actually complete from start to finish without any fast forwards or skipped episodes. Probably the only show ever that I’ve demanded not to be watched without me.

I think I’ve started all of the Netflix series after googling to find out what they were. Including some of the cartoon series with my daughter. Was surprised that Peaky Blinders was not technically one of them. Glad to hear Netflix will be on board with season 3.

Some people really like Marco Polo, which I can agree with. Have been disappointed that there have not been any real battle scenes yet. I think I’m the only person in my house that likes it though. Which I’m started to get bored with now.

Hard to believe Rogan and Franco could be so un-funny together, but they are.

Did you see “This is The End”? It was pretty unfunny except for Danny McBride. Franco and Rogen were both pretty much unfunny throughout.

It was even more unfunny if watched in similar proximity to the much better The World’s End.

True. Danny McBride saved that movie. Channing Tatum and Micheal Cera both provided some decent moments as well.

Even the Rogan Franco duo in Pineapple Express was just so so after the big buildup that it received. It was the rest of the cast that saved that movie as well.

Parking is tough during peak hours. Gallery Hop and Thur-Sat nights.

Go on a Tuesday night or a weekend early afternoon. No problems.

I agree with going on off peak nights/hours. Just not convenient for the tourists/outsiders.

Walking far distances isn’t exactly what elderly and people with small children are excited to do.

Where are the new parking garages in the Short North? The closest that I know of are Arena District and South Campus Gateway garages.

I no longer shop in the Short North area for the simple reason of inadequate parking. The area is well past needing parking garages vs the couple of open metered lots that are provided. It has gotten so bad in fact, most of the surrounding residential streets are now permit parking only.

That being said, I don’t think it necessarily hurts the Short North stores that much. More Columbus as a whole in regards to tourism etc…

No matter what everyone wants to believe, it’s not easy being a tourist. The Short North is a gem of Columbus but sometimes it almost feels like it goes out of it’s way to keep people out.

Can someone please explain to me why in the hell would the NCAA schedule the championship game on a Monday.

I’m not staying up that late to watch a college game on a work night. I don’t care if OSU is in it or not. To me if they beat Bama, they are champions in my eyes.

Good deal. I’m glad it’s back in use. Must have reopened after I had moved away around 3 years ago. A lot has changed since I’ve returned.

Actually walked through with a friend before I had left who was interested in buying it, but he felt it needed too much restoration work.

That Checksmart is my #1 gotta go. Shouldn’t even be a legal business in the first place without better restrictions on how much they can charge.

The old Garden Theater had been on my list for years, but someone told me they have actually reopened.

Would also like to remove the parking spaces from the list, unless of course they are replaced by better parking alternatives.

I don’t see much coming out of this. Had this been a healthy Barrett during the regular season, then yeah. We would be looking at the typical 1-3 game suspension just for putting yourself in that situation type of penalty.

I lot of my tv time is semi background “viewing”.

Good show but since half of it is subtitled, I rarely get to watch. It’s taken about 2 months to get through half of the first season.

So Barrett has a “girlfriend” with the last name of Barrett-Clark?

From my understanding that is correct.
A “mobile” housing unit does not have to adhere to the same building codes as a permanent structure.

A cousin of mine is in the process of doing the same thing, but he’s doing this in Coshocton county.

I just find that many times British television shows have excessive dialogue. Find myself thinking… come on, get on it with it, yeah I get that already.

I’m sure there will be a Black Mirror episode that covers shrinking attention spans lol.

Which isn’t it, action based movies/shows are my least favorite genre, and many of my favorites would probably be considered slow and dialogue based. Difference is that the dialogue isn’t repeated and a single conversation isn’t over extended seemingly just to prove the theatrical talents of the actors.

This made up for my entire weekend tv time.

I thought episode 3 had far too much dialogue and took too long to develop, which is pretty normal for the British shows. Haven’t started episode 4 yet.

Wishing this had been an American show, but then again… I’m sure we’ll steal that show as well.

    Thanks for the heads up.

I’ve seen it on the list.

Watching the last Peaky Blinders episode of season 2 tonight, which I liked more than I thought I would. So will probably start into that next.
